You must see the OXO can opener in person to fully appreciate the brushed stainless steel, elegant curves, and black rubber grip. It is beautiful in form and function at any angle.
While true it functions the same as can openers from the .99 cent store, those just don't compare. This is a full 6" thus offering more leverage for can puncturing and bottle opening. It is akin to quality built carpenter tools.
The thicker high grade stainless steel won't bend or rust and is dishwasher safe. We have some of those smaller, cheap openers and they all rusted. You get what you pay for.
A great add-on gift, or stocking stuffer for any kitchen utensil lover. A distinctive statement for any kitchen or bar.
