My wife bought the Oxo Winged Corkscrew to replace an old Oxo corkscrew that had lasted for years. The new one broke after about a months use. The corkscrew broke off in the cork. I contacted Oxo about a replacement, but they wanted me to mail the old one to them with my receipt which I did not have. Thankfully Bed Bath and Beyond where we bought it allowed us to return it and we bought another brand. Based on the reviews here, it looks like this is a defective design with so many of them breaking.
