I ended up sending this item back. It was much to big for my use. In fact it was big enough that it would not fit in any of my kitchen drawers.

Its sturdy brushed stainless steel construction is guaranteed to last, while the cushioned handle offers a soft, non-slip grip.This nylon ladle by Oxo has a large-capacity well to make serving soups and gravies quick and simple. Constructed of heat-resistant (up to 250 degrees F) nylon, the ladle is strong and will last for decades. It is safe to use with nonstick cookware. The oversize hanging hole in the handle makes storage easy.
The Good Grips line features durable, nonslip, flexible handles on every product. Ergonomically designed to fit the palm comfortably, the pressure-absorbing processed rubber handle puts less tension on the hands while still providing an outstanding grip.
